Since founding the firm Machlowitz Consultants, Inc. in 1997, Marilyn Machlowitz has advised boards, search committees and senior executives of leading corporations, professional firms, foundations, hospitals and museums as they recruit board members and senior executives. Marilyn has set the pace in providing talent solutions in the fields of executive search and executive development. She served in senior corporate HR roles for major media companies and financial services institutions and led the board search practice at Catalyst. Marilyn has published many articles and is the author of several books, including the acclaimed Workaholics. She was a part of Breastcancer.org's Consumer Advisory Board from 2000 to 2005.
Marilyn attended Princeton University and received her Ph.D. from Yale University. A native of Philadelphia, she resides in Manhattan with her husband and teenage daughter.
