Richy is currently Senior Vice President of Sales at the new FOX racing network, Speed Channel, and is responsible for all Speed Channel ad sales revenues encompassing multi-platform marketing partnerships which integrates cable, Internet, digital and program buys.

Richy's talent and skill are those of a true ad sales pro, and he is considered to be one of the Internet advertising industry's founding fathers and an integrated sales leader. He cut his teeth in the fledgling cable broadcast arena at MTVN/Viacom and honed his expertise as he rose through the ranks of Turner Broadcasting and then later as the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Phase2Media, a groundbreaking Internet advertising and marketing organization. In October 2000, Adweek lauded Richy as one of the "Seven Industry Leaders of the Future of the Internet."

Richy became involved in the Internet advertising industry when he was asked to launch the advertising sales business and operations for the Turner Broadcasting Internet properties in 1995, including CNN.com, CNNSI.com, CNNfn.com, cartoonnetwork.com, and WCW.com. Under his direction, the CNN family of web sites achieved profitability in 1997, a first for the Internet advertising industry.

Beginning his advertising career at MTV Networks in 1985 in production and then moving to ad sales, Richy later joined Turner Broadcasting as an account manager handling advertising sales for TNT and TBS in New York. In 1993 he was promoted to vice president and moved to Los Angeles to oversee ad sales efforts for the western region of the country. He then moved back to New York to handle advertising sales for CNN and CNN Headline News.
