Shari Foos

Shari Foos is a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, specializing in couples, siblings and groups. She is also a writer, speaker, facilitator and philanthropist.

In 1999, Shari founded The Bridge Program, formerly CHE, at Antioch University in Culver City, CA. The Bridge Program is a free, year-long university-level humanities program for marginalized adults. Shari has been on the Board of Trustees of the New Visions Foundation, which supports democratic, alternative and special needs educational programs, since 2002. Shari served on the Board of Visitors of Antioch University for two years and on the Board of Advisors of Free Arts for Abused Children for four years.

Shari's professional affiliations include the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Writers Guild of America West and AFTRA/SAG.

Shari received her B.A. and M.A. from Antioch University and trained in psychotherapy with adults at The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA.

Shari lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Richard and her daughter, Harley.
