Irene Card

Irene Card is president and founder of Medical Insurance Claims, Inc. (MIC Insurance Services), a health insurance services company in Kinnelon, NJ. She is licensed in New Jersey to sell health, life, and long-term care insurance. She is the author of several publications, including What Cancer Survivors Need to Know About Health Insurance for the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. Her column, "Understanding Your Health Insurance," appears in many newspapers. Ms. Card is the former insurance advisor to The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Post Treatment Resource Program. She is in frequent demand as a speaker on various aspects of health insurance and the Medicare Program. She is widely recognized as an advocate for cancer survivors and is the recipient of the American Cancer Society's Excellence in Cancer Care Award.
