Thomas A. Buchholz, M.D., F.A.C.R. is a professor and chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He also holds the Frank T. McGraw Chair for the Study of Cancer. Dr. Buchholz’ research includes the role of radiation treatment in preventing breast cancer recurrence and whether certain genes may be able to predict how breast cancer responds to treatment. He has co-authored numerous breast cancer research articles in scientific journals, and has won several awards. He has been selected for Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors since 2002.
