A total of $2.5M in funds have been raised over the last six years
NEW YORK, NY, April 1, 2015 – Over 400 people attended the sixth Annual Bowling for Breastcancer.org event on Thursday, March 19 in support of Breastcancer.org, the leading resource for breast health and breast cancer information and support. The event took place at Lucky Strike Manhattan and raised $325,000 through sponsorships, tickets sales, and silent auction sales, making it the organization’s most successful annual event.
Over six consecutive years, thousands of individuals across New York’s advertising, publishing, and digital marketing space have come together for a night of bowling to raise awareness of and funding for Breastcancer.org. To date, the Bowling for Breastcancer.org event has raised $2.5M US, supporting major Breastcancer.org initiatives such as Spanish website translation, technology upgrades, and Breastcancer.org’s global prevention program.
This year’s event sponsors included Adweek, AMC Networks, Blast PR, CBS Interactive, Centro, Collective, comScore, Dstillery, eBay, eMarketer, Facebook, Fox Networks, FreeWheel, Hulu, Jumpstart Automotive Group, Krux Digital, Madison Logic, MediaLink LLC, Millennial Media, Moat, NBCUniversal, Nielsen, PubMatic, Remedy Health Media, Rocket Fuel, Simulmedia, Time Inc., Time Warner Cable, Tremor Video, TubeMogul, Viacom Media Networks, Videology, Walmart, and Wise PR.
