Geraldine Blavat joined Breastcancer.org in September 2012 as director of corporate partnerships. Gerrie is responsible for strategic relationship development initiatives, sales, and account management efforts for key Breastcancer.org sponsors and partners.
Gerrie has over ten years of experience as a sales professional in the healthcare industry. Most recently, she was a senior educational sales representative at Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, where she sold textbooks and multimedia educational solutions to physicians, hospitals, and universities, and was integral in the company achieving goals. Prior to that, she worked as a trauma consultant at Synthes, selling orthopedic implants and instruments. In her sales roles, Gerrie also led physician, faculty, student, and peer training programs. Gerrie earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology at Pennsylvania State University and studied viral immunology as a research associate at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Stanford University.
