Jen Snavely is the assistant director of development for Breastcancer.org and manages all fundraising events, direct mail, and online giving. In addition, Jen oversees database management, development reporting, and the development committee of the Board.

Jen's love for non-profit work and fundraising was cultivated in her years at Penn State University through her involvement with the Penn State Dance Marathon, the largest student-run fundraiser in the nation. Before finding her way to professional fundraising, she spent three years working as a technical recruiter. Her switch to non-profit began when she started to volunteer for Crossing the Finish Line, an organization with a wonderful mission and a motivational executive director.

Before long, Jen was hired full-time as development and event coordinator for CFL, a non-profit that provides respites for young adult cancer patients and their families. Jen gained a certificate in non-profit management as well as extensive event planning and database management experience. She moved to Breastcancer.org after finding inspiration in the mission, staff and leadership. "After watching two aunts battle breast cancer and meeting countless inspirational survivors, I feel blessed to be able to give something back to such a wonderful organization." In addition to Breastcancer.org and Crossing the Finish Line, Jen has worked with Inner City Games Philadelphia and the Valentine Foundation.
