Keeping your bones healthy throughout your life is very important—particularly if you've had breast cancer, since recent research shows that some breast cancer treatments can lead to bone loss. You may start out with strong bones, or you may already have osteoporosis. Other factors in your life, such as early menopause, growing older, and being physically inactive, can also affect your bones. So it's essential to choose the best treatment against the cancer and the best plan to keep your bones strong.
