Light at the End of the Tunnel

End of Year 2008

Hello, I'm Pamela. I am a 53-year-old single white female. Last June I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. All my sisters were with me and I was devastated. I'm here to tell you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I had chemo and radiation and I thought it would never end, but it did. Everyone was so nice to me, and I met some wonderful friends. When I lost my hair, that was devastating but now it has come back and everyone loves it. So to all of you who have been diagnosed, hang in there and you will make it. If I can, anyone can, but it's not an easy road. You will find so much support and love. Take care everyone and may god bless you!
