Question from Kathy: Are there any results yet from the clinical trial comparing exemestane with anastrozole?
- Answer —Jennifer Griggs, M.D., M.P.H.: Not yet. Both drugs are very good at treating both metastatic and early stage breast cancer. From other similar studies, it appears that these drugs are very similar to one another but that side effects may differ between drugs and between patients.
