Andrew D. Seidman, M.D. is an attending physician for the Breast Cancer Medicine Service, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He is also an associate professor of medicine at Joan and Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. For his research on the role of taxanes in breast cancer treatment, Dr. Seidman received a Career Development Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). In 2003, he received the Gay Clark Stoddard Memorial Award, given by the Komen Foundation to a health care professional who consistently goes beyond the call to provide compassionate, exceptional care to breast cancer patients. Dr. Seidman is also a member of Breastcancer.org's Professional Advisory Board.
Beth Baughman DuPree, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the medical director of the Breast Health Program at Holy Redeemer Health System in Meadowbrook, PA. Previously, Dr. DuPree was CEO and medical director of the Comprehensive Breast Care Institute at DSI of Bucks County in Bensalem, PA. Dr. DuPree is a general surgeon who focuses her practice on breast cancer care and believes that bringing together complementary therapies with leading-edge technology can lead to better outcomes. In 2006, Dr. DuPree published a book titled The Healing Consciousness. In 2007, she established The Healing Consciousness Foundation to fund holistic therapies for people diagnosed with breast cancer. She is also a member of Breastcancer.org's Professional Advisory Board.
