Dear Breastcancer.org Visitors,

I am thrilled and proud to introduce you to the new and improved Breastcancer.org!

It has been truly amazing to watch the organization that I started in 1999 grow into such a respected and valuable resource. We are the most trafficked website for breast cancer news and information, and we have the world’s largest online breast cancer community!

My #1 mission in founding Breastcancer.org in 1999 was to fulfill the need for trusted and reliable expert medical information and support that was accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We have always believed that to be as helpful as possible, we must listen to people's needs. Over the past years we have been checking in with our visitors to see how we are doing. We conducted surveys with thousands of Breastcancer.org users. The research identified the need to improve the site design – in particular, simplifying the site navigation to enable users to more readily find the information they seek.

Living through breast cancer is difficult and the fear can be overwhelming, which is why it’s so important to ensure our information is relevant, understandable, and easy to find.

Breastcancer.org is also pleased to present our new identity. The new logo – intertwined pink ribbons forming a circle – is a creative re-imagining of the traditional pink ribbon representing breast cancer awareness. Its interwoven, continuous characteristic, along with the color palette, suggests strength, partnership, and a strong bond.

These new site changes reflect how our supporters see us and seek us. It's truly an honor to be "invited" on the journey through every site visitor's breast cancer experience.
