Lynn Hartmann, M.D. is a professor of oncology at the Mayo Clinic and associate director for education of the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center. She is the principal investigator of a recently funded Department of Defense Center of Excellence grant in breast cancer at the Mayo Clinic entitled "Benign Breast Disease: Toward Molecular Prediction of Breast Cancer Risk." One of her chief areas of interest is women at high risk for breast cancer.
Beth Baughman DuPree, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a general surgeon who focuses on breast cancer care and believes that bringing together complementary therapies with state-of-the-art, leading-edge technology can lead to better outcomes. She is chairman of The Board of Advocates of The American Society of Breast Surgeons, and her clinical practice is located at Holy Redeemer Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center. Dr. DuPree published her first book in June 2006, titled The Healing Consciousness: A Doctor's Journey to Healing. The proceeds from the book have allowed her to create The Healing Consciousness Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing healing therapies for breast cancer survivors. She has been the keynote speaker at numerous conferences and seminars, primarily in addressing breast cancer treatment and healing. Dr. Dupree is also a member of Breastcancer.org's Professional Advisory Board.
