Banana Split Parfait

Banana Split Parfait 

Made with fresh fruit and organic, low-fat yogurt, this nutritious parfait is just right on a hot, sunny, spring afternoon.


4 cups organic low-fat banana/vanilla yogurt 1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced 4 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1 cup diced pineapple 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup chocolate sauce


To assemble the parfait, place 1/3 cup yogurt in the bottom of each of 4-12 oz. parfait glasses. Add layers of each of the following: 1/4 cup strawberries, 1 tablespoon chocolate sauce, an additional 1/3 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup pineapple, and 1 tablespoon chocolate sauce. Top with the remaining 1/3 cup yogurt and garnish with banana slices and 1 tablespoon of chopped walnuts. Sprinkle with cocoa powder. Makes 4 servings.
