Page last modified on: April 6, 2009

Also known as: MGN-3, MGN-3 Immune Enhancing Complex, BioBran®

It’s claimed that MGN boosts the activity of natural killer cells, a type of white blood cell that destroys certain types of cancer cells in the laboratory. However, these claims have not been proven. In 2004, a judge prohibited a New Jersey company from distributing MGN-3 because it was making anti-cancer claims without evidence.

Usual dose: This has not been determined.

Are there any risks? This has not been determined.

What does the research say? There is no research showing that MGN-3 has any effect on breast cancer or any other cancer.
