Question from Jean: Do you recommend aromatase inhibitors for breast cancer prevention in high-risk patients with no previous cancer?
- Answers —Sandra Schnall, M.D.: To date there has been no definitive trial to support that class of medications for chemoprevention for breast cancer. There have been studies that show the chemoprevention with tamoxifen and with raloxifene.
