Question from Jaclin: I would like to know if goserelin is common to use in hormone-receptor-negative breast cancer?
- Answer —Kathy Miller, M.D.: Goserelin (brand name: Zoladex) works by stopping the ovaries from producing estrogen, so it has only been effective in women with hormone-receptor-positive cancers.
