Kopp, a veteran healthcare and digital media leader, was most recently CEO of Healthline Media. He succeeds Jane Hollingsworth, Managing Partner of Militia Hill Ventures, who has been a member of the Board for nine years and Chair since June of 2019.

Marisa C. Weiss, MD, the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Breastcancer.org noted, “Jane has been a fantastic advocate for our organization for many years now, and we have  benefited from her indispensable wisdom, acumen, and humanity in countless ways.” She added, “We are grateful to continue to have Jane as a friend and guiding force.”

A member of the Board of Directors since 2021, Kopp assumes the role as Chair during a time of extraordinary growth and innovation for the 22-year old nonprofit, with plans to build more predictive and personalized digital solutions for the Breastcancer.org audience. This includes addressing health literacy, research participation, and bringing patients and caregivers together with healthcare providers to improve access to care, informed decision-making, quality of life, and achieving the best possible health outcomes.

“The depth and breadth of David's expertise and compassion for people's health is going to be hugely important for Breastcancer.org as we embark on our ambitious growth strategy,” said Hope Wohl, Chief Executive of Breastcancer.org.
