Debbie Buchwald is the proposal writer at Breastcancer.org. As a member of the development team, she identifies and evaluates corporate and foundation prospects, develops grant narratives, and supports the growth of an institutional fundraising strategy for the organization.
Debbie began her professional career as a practicing attorney and subsequently focused her professional efforts on nonprofit program development and fundraising. From 2004 to 2013, she served as executive director of the Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, crafting bi-national strategic corporate partnerships across multiple industry sectors to promote trade and investment in the greater Philadelphia region. Debbie then spent five years at Drexel University where she forged corporate relationships with a focus on technology collaborations and place-based partnerships.
