Lauren Hughes rejoined Breastcancer.org as director of development in 2018. Lauren previously held the same position from 2012-2015. Lauren leads our development team and provides strategic direction and overall management of key philanthropic fundraising programs.
After starting her career in the corporate sector in employee relations and recruiting for SMG, Lauren has worked in the nonprofit space for more than 12 years as a development professional and at some of the leading organizations in the Philadelphia region: the Philadelphia Museum of Art, WHYY (the Philadelphia region’s PBS and NPR affiliate), and of course, Breastcancer.org. Most recently, Lauren served as director of development at Arden Theatre Company, the leading regional nonprofit theatre in Philadelphia.
