Breastcancer.org is committed to respecting the privacy of donors. This Donor Privacy Notice explains how the organization collects, uses, discloses, and protects donor information, both online and offline, including information collected on our website and in written, oral, and electronic communication. If you do not agree with the privacy practices disclosed in the Notice, we recommend you do not submit your information to us.

Breastcancer.org will not trade, share, or sell a donor’s name or personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. Use of donor’s personal information will be limited to the internal purposes of Breastcancer.org and only to further the mission of Breastcancer.org. Breastcancer.org does not make outbound solicitation calls (telemarketing).

Breastcancer.org will use the personal information to protect against potential fraud. We may verify with third parties the information collected in the course of processing a gift, event registration, or other donation. If you use a credit or debit card on the website, we may use card authorization and fraud screening services to verify that your card information and address matches the information that you supplied to us and that the card being used has not been reported lost or stolen.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
