Carol Cherry, M.S.N, R.N., A.P.R.N, B.C. is health educator, Research Project Manager, and Cancer Risk Counselor in the Margaret Dyson Family Risk Assessment Program at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Pennsylvania. She works closely with women who have a family history of breast and ovarian cancer, to evaluate their risk and explore prevention and genetic testing options. Her prior experience in radiation oncology nursing has provided her with a rich background in the care of breast cancer patients, from diagnosis to terminal care. She says, "Women need accurate, complete information to make informed decisions. I am committed to assisting Breastcancer.org in this effort."

Carol was formerly a risk assessment counselor and radiation oncology nurse at the Paoli (Pennsylvania) Cancer Center, beloved by everyone with and for whom she worked. Carol has also worked at the Bryn Mawr and Good Samaritan Hospitals. She was a founding member and President of the Penns Wood Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society, and has a strong commitment to expanding clinical expertise, for both herself and her colleagues.
