Amanda joined the Breastcancer.org team in July of 2008 as Assistant Grant Writer. She recently graduated from George Washington University where she was very active in her community service sorority.
She joined the team with experience working with health-issue nonprofits and development. Her primary responsibilities include helping to expand the funding base for Breastcancer.org and maintaining the organization’s relationships with its foundation supporters through proposal writing, editing, and managing reports.
Amanda was immediately impressed and won-over by the mission of Breastcancer.org. "I'm learning so much here already – not only about grant writing, but about breast health and breast cancer. Since my start here, I’ve been advocating to my friends the importance of breast health awareness. Breastcancer.org is a great resource for everyone."
