Dr. Barrio is a breast surgical oncologist who specializes exclusively in the treatment of breast diseases. I perform all aspects of breast cancer surgery. She also has extensive experience in caring for people with benign disease. Her recent research has focused on reducing how often lymphedema occurs by finding ways of removing fewer underarm lymph nodes, particularly for women who receive chemotherapy before surgery.
