Dr. Oktay is professor of obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive sciences, as well as director of the Laboratory of Molecular Reproduction and Fertility Preservation at the Yale School of Medicine. He is one of the world’s leading expert in fertility preservation and a renowned ovarian biologist. He developed and performed the world’s first ovarian transplants and pioneered innovative ovarian stimulation protocols for cancer patients.
