Mark L. Smith, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of surgical experience and is considered a pioneer in microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and lymphatic surgery. He is director of reconstructive oncology at the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, vice chair of surgery at Northwell Health, and executive director at the Friedman Center, a physician partner of Northwell Health.
