Myleena facilitates the Young With Metastatic Breast Cancer Group. Being part of the living life with cancer community herself, she finds the time growing together deeply meaningful. As a Clinical Social Worker, she supports individuals living with chronic illness and those impacted by cancer in private practice and is on the Parent Advisory Board for Bright Spot Network. Additionally, she has served in other supportive oncology roles including the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program Therapist at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, The Pause Project Facilitator and speaker as a Volunteer with Cactus Cancer Society and has been the Mental Health Professional for Camp Kesem for three camp sessions in Iowa and New Hampshire.
