Metastatic Breast Cancer on the AnaOno Fashion Week Runway
AnaOno is a lingerie, loungewear, and swimwear line founded by Dana Donofree after her own breast cancer diagnosis.
Each year during New York Fashion Week, AnaOno holds a fashion show with people affected by breast cancer as the models.
All of the models in the 2019 runway show have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, and all proceeds from the show benefited METAvivor, which funds metastatic breast cancer research and awareness initiatives.
In the Fashion Statements podcasts, the models share their experiences with metastatic breast cancer and explain what being in the show means to them.
